KOSCELNIK PATRICIA ANN (MESHER) Of Monroeville, age 78, on July 4, 2015, after a two-year struggle with stomach cancer. Preceded in death by her parents, John C. and Frances Mesher. Survived by her beloved husband of 55 years, Richard Francis Koscelnik; children, Jacqueline Koscelnik, Esq. of Pittsburgh, Carole Raymond (David) of Laurel, MD, Michael Koscelnik of Kensington, MD, and Diane Koscelnik of Pittsburgh; also survived by six grandchildren, Lauren, Natalie, Patrick and Joseph Raymond, and Julia and Alexandra Koscelnik; sister of John C. Mesher (Carol) of The Villages, FL, and George E. Mesher (Barbara) of Pittsburgh. Born and raised in Donora, PA, Patricia became an RN through Mercy Hospital School of Nursing ('57). Her nursing career focused on long-term care. She was Director of Nursing at Murray Manor, Woodhaven Care Center and The Heritage Shadyside. Patricia and her husband enjoyed retirement living in The Villages, FL, where she was a member of St. Timothy Catholic Church. Interests included golf, Mah Jongg and pinochle. Her true passion was quilting, especially creating and sewing quilts for her family. She also belonged to Friendship Star Quilters in The Villages. SEILER RUTH A. (EY) On Tuesday, July 7, 2015, just shy of her 89th birthday, Ruth Ey Seiler peacefully passed away with family at her side, after a long and courageous battle with cancer and congestive heart failure. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Harry; her brother, Edward Ey; sisters, Mary Sekinger and Lois Schmidt. She will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by her children, Harry, Jr. “Sonny” and his wife, Dee, Evelyn (Tom) Snee, Barbara, Beth and Janis (Mark Comparone); grandchildren, Debbie (Billy) Meade, Bobby (Diane) Hillerich, Vince Berardini, and Maegan Snee; and great-grandchildren, Patrick, Allison and Michael Meade, and Andrew and Claire Hillerich; and longtime family friends, Lenny Lanham and Mike Jones. Ruth brought much joy and was a beloved second mom to the Giovanazzi family. She enjoyed reading, sewing, gardening, baking her delicious nut rolls, playing Scrabble at the dining room table with her daughters and working at the Mt. Washington Foodland/Shop 'n Save where her regular customers would wait in her line just to chit-chat with her, which made her day! Ruth is also survived by her sister, Helen Miller; and brother, Paul (Rose) Ey; and many nieces and nephews and their families; as well as many lifelong friends (the Choir Wives and the “Club Ladies”) and neighbors on her street. WYSE CHARLES J. "CHUCK" Age 71, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Philadelphia, PA on Sunday, July 5, 2015. Chuck was the loving husband of Karen; father to Craig and Keith Wyse; stepfather to Suellen Smith, Kate Stec and Mary Perlmutter; grandfather to Kayla, Baby Boy Wyse, Andrew, Ted, Emily, Rachel, Bridgid and Maggie; and brother to Ron Wyse (Jan). After attending St. Basil's High School in Carrick, PA he spent four years in the USAF. Chuck's successful professional career took him all over the US and Australia as well, but he never lost his love for Pittsburgh and never missed an opportunity to come back for a Pirates game, a Danny's hoagie and a round of golf at Butler's. He will be remembered as a man who loved life and family and will be greatly missed. Services will be held Saturday, July 10, 2015, at St. Luke's the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 2316 Fairhill Avenue in Glenside, PA. JONISCHEK DIANE M. Age 68, of Indiana, passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2015, at UPMC Presbyterian, Pittsburgh. A daughter of the late Joseph F. and Lillian Price Best, she was born July 2, 1947, in Pittsburgh. Mrs. Jonischek was a graduate of the Holy Ghost Academy in Pittsburgh and was employed at S&T Bank in the Wealth Management department. She was also a certified Paralegal. Mrs. Jonischek was a member of St. Bernard of Clairvaux Catholic Church, Catholic Daughters of America, and also attended St. Dominic Roman Catholic Church in Sigel. She was a very devout catholic and held strong to her beliefs. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Donald A. Jonischek, of Indiana; two children, Todd P. Jonischek and wife, Dana, of Salisbury, MD, Pamela L. Chodubski and husband, Michael, of Erie; a brother, Joseph Best and wife, Kathleen, of Pittsburgh; a sister, Nancy Cvitkovic and husband, Joseph, of Pittsburgh; her pride and joy, a granddaughter, Emma D. Chodubski; and step- grandchildren, Brett Jones, Ty Hagel, Anna Chodubski and Samuel Chodubski. She was preceded in death by her parents. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at ROBINSON - LYTLE, INC., INDIANA. A funeral mass will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at St. Bernard of Clairvaux Catholic Church.
