Tibus, Reston, VA and Jeannine (Mark) Lenart, Trafford, PA; nephews, Andrew E. Ondo, Broadview Heights, OH, Joseph (Debbie) Ondo, Pittsburgh, PA, David D. (Marsha) Ondo, Baldwin, PA, and Jonathan M. Alma attended St. Mark's Roman Catholic Elementary School and McKees Rocks High School, and graduated from Mt. Assisi Academy, Bellevue. She distinguished herself with diligence, integrity, and total quality work as a clerk for the Joseph Horne Company, downtown Pittsburgh, and through her long career as a Time Keeper at the Station Square Office of the Pittsburgh and Lake Erie Railroad. She was a faithful Eucharistic Minister of St. Mark's Church and a dedicated member of the church choir. She generously dedicated sacrificial leadership to the St. Mark's Parish Council. She cherished her Catholic faith, Slovak heritage, personal and extended family, holidays, friends, people, children, playing the organ, music, especially polkas, housekeeping, cooking, dancing, singing, and helping others. Alma was always more ready to give of her time, energies, and resources than to seek or receive personal acclaim or favor. She was very happy to participate in the seasonal concerts at Station Square with the Pittsburgh and Lake Erie Rail Road Employees Chorus. Her life of service to others distinguishes her legacy as a humble servant leader and organizer for many church, P&LE RR and Windgap Senior Center social events. She bequeaths a dynamic, beautiful, and living example of selfless love, hospitality, care, and service to people. Throughout her entire life, especially in her later years of failing health, she never complained. She simply and humbly accepted all things with her signature smile, and happy and kind spirit. She lived in the peace and knowledge of fulfilling God's will for her. She generously gave of herself to care for her family, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews for many years. She courageously endured failing health and Alzheimer's in her later years. Her composure and courage characterized her personal peace and acceptance to follow her Savior and Redeemer all her life and now unto her eternal home.
