CINSKI BERNARD "BERN" Age 84, of Middlsesex Township, Valencia, PA, passed away Sunday, August 5, 2018. Born July 3, 1934 in Millvale, PA, son of Bernard L. and Catherine Voit Cinski. He married his high school sweetheart, Jacqueline Joy Oesterling on August 20, 1955 at St. Ann Catholic Church in Millvale and were married 63 years. He was the proud father of Dr. Greg (Christine) Cinski of E. Setauket, NY and Dale (Randy) Cinski of Valencia, PA; brother of Vincent (Eileen) Cinski of Millvale, Brian (Victoria) Cinski of Shaler, and the late Nancy Chmelovski; uncle of Dr. Kenneth Coburn, Timothy Foden, and Brian (Charlene) Cinski, Jr.; he is also survived by three beloved grandchildren, Daniel, Georgia and Ryen. Bern served in the Army in Germany as a photo mapping specialist and was a lithographer with Pittsburgh Atlas. He was a charter member of Knights of Columbus of Millvale and an active member of Multiple Sclerosis Club of North Hills and Butler MS Club. Bern enjoyed working on his computer, receiving emails from friends and playing games on his iPad. He was married for 64 years to the late Myrna Ann (Altmeyer) Lysaght. Joseph is survived by his four children, Joseph (Karen), Sharon Scott (Jeffrey), Myrna Thomas (Chad) and Michael (Wendy); nine grandchildren, Justin, Kristin, Jeffrey, Bradley, Ashley, Brittany, Nicole (Dylan August), Taylor and Dylan, and great-grandson, Elijah James. Joe was the loving son of the late Marguarite and William Lysaght, Sr.; and loving brother of Marian Kunkler, William Lysaght, Jr. and John "Jack" Lysaght. Joseph attended St. Canice High School where he met his wife, Myrna. Shortly thereafter, Joe proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean War. SMITH MARILYN JEAN Age 88, of Oakmont, passed away peacefully of natural causes with family at her bedside on Sunday, August 5, 2018, at the Longwood at Oakmont Retirement Community. Marilyn was born on April 17, 1930, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to the late George and Elsie (Hegel) Geisler. She was the loving spouse to the late William Joseph Smith. She was a graduate of Pittsburgh's Langley High School. She dedicated her life to her husband and raising her four children. She was a gifted artist whose work included annual Christmas Cards worthy of Hallmark, and living family history of sketches, pastels, and paintings. Her art is on display in countless homes as well as in Longwood. She was a cake master, pastry chef, and confectioner. Her ability as a seamstress kept her family current with the day's fashion trends or in Halloween outfits as the season called for. She was as talented with a jig saw as she was with turning cloth into quilts and crafts into family keepsakes. She is survived by her sister, Margie Rackley Mueller; her children Gary (Jeanne) Smith, Randy (Beth) Smith, Pamela (James) Keffer, Jenifer (David) Kondis; ten grandchildren; and eight great-grandkids. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, George Geisler. Anne, one of five children, was born on July 21, 1924, in Sewickley to the late Thomas and Anna (McLaughlin) Cronin. Anne was a 1943 graduate of Sewickley High School. There she met her husband, James C. Tim Abercrombie, Jr. Tim was called to serve his country in the U.S. Army during WWII. Upon his return, the high school sweethearts married on June 8, 1946. Tim preceded Anne in death on June 20, 1999. Beloved mother of Barbara (Kenneth) Jones of Cincinnati, OH, Janet (the late Douglas) Masciola and James C. (Annette) Abercrombie III, all of Sewickley; cherished grandmother of Beth (Josh) Adkins and Megan (Kent) Kelly; great-grandmother of Avery, Ryann and Mason. Anne was preceded in death by siblings, Thomas and James Cronin, Margaret Neely and Mary Amend. Anne was a faithful and life-long member of St. James Church and their 55+ Club. Anne and Tim loved to go out to dinner and were regulars at Sewickley Eat N Park. Known all over Sewickley as an avid walker, it was said by some, that you could set your watch to Anne's walking schedule. She also enjoyed card club.
