PHILLIPS JAMES G. Age 77, of Pittsburgh, peacefully on Tuesday, April 3, 2018. Beloved husband and friend of Gail; loving father of Angela (Joe) Barker, Gregory Phillips, Kathleen (Harry) Patterson, Debra Wilke, Dennis (Mickey) Slaney, and Chuck (Maryjo) Slaney; brother of the late Pat, Karen (late Richard), Tom (Chris); also eight beloved grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Jim served as a proud Sergeant with the city of Pittsburgh Police Department for 30 years until his retirement and served in the US Navy.
