KENNEDY JOHN C. JACK Age 94, of North Versailles, formerly of Wilkinsburg, on January 13, 2018. John proudly served in the U.S. Marines during World War II, and was the recipient of the Purple Heart. He worked as Tax Commissioner for the 12 railroads that serviced U.S. Steel until retiring in 1985. John, an avid golfer, was a former member of the Grandview Golf Club. He also enjoyed spending time with his family. John leaves behind daughter, Karen Angelo; sons, Jay C. (Pat) Kennedy, and John W. (Joan) Kennedy; ten grandchildren; 12 great- grandchildren; son-in-law, Thomas Madigan; and brother-in-law, Randy Groth. He was preceded in death by his parents; beloved wife, Lillian D. (Rosene) Kennedy; daughters, Diane Madigan, Gail Kennedy; and sister, Grace Groth.
