GILCHER HENRIETTA K. Age 81, of Murrysville, formerly of Gibsonia, passed on Thursday, January 19, 2017. She was born August 21, 1935 on Troy Hill in Pittsburgh. She was the daughter of the late Sebastian and Veronika Kleber. Henny was the third child of a German immigrant family. Her mother passed away when she was only nine years old. Despite losing her mom so young, she naturally knew how to be the best mom ever. Her husband, daughters, grand- sons, siblings, nieces, nephews and friends were her joy. She had a love of laughter, lightheartedness and had a beautiful way of putting her special touch in everything, especially Christmas and birthdays. She graduated from Mars High School and went on to complete training as an executive secretary at IBM School in Pittsburgh. She lived at Athalia Daily Residence for professional women and worked as an Executive Secretary at H. K. Porter Company. She was an active member of the Young Adults of Pittsburgh, where she met her faithful husband of 52 years. She dedicated the rest of her life to her family as a stay-at-home mom and wife where she found great joy and purpose. Henny was a long time member of Newlonsburg Presbyterian Church, Murrysville where she headed the Bereavement Committee, participated in the Bell Choir, Women's Breakfast and many Bible studies over the years. She is survived by her husband, Heinz; two daughters, Heidi (Christopher) Sadecky of McMurray and Gretchen (Rob) Lagoon of Zelienople; two grandchildren, Gabriel and Julian Lagoon; and her two older siblings, Anthony Kleber and Veronica McCandless. Visitation 1-3 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the HART FUNERAL HOME INC., Murrysville. Christian Funeral 10 a.m. Monday at Newlonsburg Presbyterian Church. Interment in the Allegheny County Memorial Park, Allison Park, will follow a luncheon.
