CONNELLY BEATRICE B. Age 100, on Friday, January 13, 2017, formerly of Mt. Oliver. Beloved wife of the late Martin, and former wife of the late Paul Bradley; loving mother of Fran Munsch, Paul (Betty), Larry, and Marian (Joe Pawlak) Bradley; devoted grandmother of Julia (Matt), Brian, Sherry (Greg), Tina (Bill), Jake (Amber), Amy, and Jody. Will be dearly missed by her family, including her brother, Norby, and his wife, Lil, her great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Bea loved her family, her country, and Mt. Oliver. She grew up on Fisher Street with seven beloved brothers and sisters, and was in the first class to graduate from St. Joseph High School in 1935, while working part time at Forbes Field. She married Paul Bradley in 1939, and raised her family on Onyx Avenue, eventually becoming head teller at the local Mellon Bank branch. Bea later married Marty Connelly and moved to Cleveland for 6 years, before returning to Mt. Oliver to spend retirement visiting with family and friends. Her last home was Canterbury Place, where she enjoyed the friendship of residents and staff alike, singing to all she met, "I love you, a bushel and a peck". She was a spirited, strong woman with a good heart and kind manner. She will be missed by those left behind, but happy to rejoin those who departed before her. Friends received Thursday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at TIMOTHY K. SLATER FUNERAL SERVICES, INC., (412-381-3337), 425 Brownsville Road, Mt. Oliver, 15210.
