PRELER GERALD R. Age 75, died Wednesday, January 11, 2017, at Aurora House in Weslaco, Texas. Gerald was born in McKeesport, Pennsylvania. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and employed by Lockheed Martin. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jerry and Clara Preler; and his first wife, Helen Simone. Mr. Preler is survived by his wife, Margarita M. Preler; two sons, Eric (Valerie) Preler, Brian (Laurel) Preler; a sister, Nancy Rollason; four grandchildren; one great-grandson; and three nephews. Cremation will take place at Memorial Cremation Center in Edinburg, Texas. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME IN SAN JUAN, Texas.
