HOREW DOLORES (CYWINSKI) Age 84, of Polish Hill, after a courageous battle with lung cancer, Dolores "Dolly," sadly succumbed to the illness on September 10, 2013. Along with her husband, the late Michael Horew, Sr., she is welcomed with open arms by her parents, brothers, sisters and friends as they delight in her arrival home. Mother of Michele (Reg) Weatherly, Diane (Mike) DiSilvio and Michael Horew; grandmother of Jennifer (Mike) Juskowich, David (Stevie) DiSilvio, Matthew DiSilvio, Alison Weatherly and Timothy Horew; great- grandmother of Jackson and Lucas Juskowich; and aunt of many nieces and nephews. Dolores enjoyed puzzle solving and making crafts. but more than anything else, she delighted in the company of family and good friends, where she welcomed them into her home and treated them to good food, conversation and a hot cup of coffee. Dolores will be remembered by all who knew her for her love of life, her delight in her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, her strength in the face of adversity, her boundless energy and her generosity to others. To know her was to love her, and she will forever be in our hearts until we all meet again. We wish to express our deep gratitude to Mom's friends and neighbors, Mary and Bill Krystopolski, and to the countless nurses and aides for the compassionate care given to her over the last year.
